Mohammad hacked his uncle in Barguna’s Taltoli and came to hide his uncle’s house. He committed suicide by hanging himself from a raintree tree. A teenager named Mahfuz (18). The incident took place on Sunday (October 31) at 10 pm in Gabtali village of Chhotabagi union in Taltoli upazila. Mahfuz is the son of Nizam Hawladar of Bara Labangola area of Burirchar union in Barguna district.
Faruk Hossain, a member of Ward 7 of Burirchar Union, said that Mahfuz had hacked his own uncle Fazlu Pada on the evening of October 26 after failing to marry his aunt’s sister. Then, 4-5 days ago, his father’s cousin went to the house of Badsha Hawladar in West Gabtali area of Chhotabagi Union to stay in hiding. Another cousin of his father, Md. Mahfuz committed suicide by hanging himself from a raintree tree on the south side of Kawsar Hawladar’s house.
Badsha Hawladar saw him hanging from a tree and informed the Taltoli police. Police brought the body to the police station for autopsy.
Taltoli police officer in charge (OC) said. Kamruzzaman said that after receiving the news, the police came to the spot and prepared an inquest report on the body. The body will be sent to the morgue for autopsy on Monday morning. An unnatural death case has been filed at the police station.
